About the job
Our Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology is looking for a proactive Resources Officer to join their busy Central Faculty Office. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for a wide range of facilities and resources administration support facilitating asset management, purchasing and maintenance in accordance with University policy and on behalf of the Faculty. With the support of a dedicated team, your daily tasks will include liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including students, staff and service providers to ensure that clients have the resources they need to excel while at Swinburne. Reporting to the Spaces and Resources Manager, this is a customer focused role where you will have the opportunity to contribute to a broad portfolio of building refurbishment projects, and utilise your coordination skills to keep project activities and tasks on track as the Faculty continues to grow and expand.
With extensive experience gained within a previous resource administration role, your customer focused approach supports you to confidently manage your stakeholders’ expectations with professionalism and commitment. You are able to consistently achieve your deliverables through your exceptional time management skills, while you enjoy a fast paced environment that requires you to remain on your feet and proactive throughout the day.
