About the opportunity 

We are seeking a senior leader, with exceptional communication skills to support the University of Sydney (Parramatta/Westmead) expansion strategy, a key priority of the senior executive. The Flagship Themes Implementation Lead (Parramatta/Westmead) will be responsible for designing the process and evaluation of choices in relation to the flagship academic themes for the University of Sydney (Parramatta/Westmead) initiative. This role will refine the selection process, execute the selection of new and future flagship themes using a college of experts, and develop a pathway to operationalisation of the new campus. The incumbent will be an advocate for a visionary and academically-relevant set of disciplinary and multi-disciplinary ventures for the new campus.

  • extensive  experience in the Australian higher education sector, and  demonstrated deep understanding of research and teaching excellence

  • exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
