About the area: the Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) division leads the development and maintenance of university wide integrated strategic plans, planning processes, initiatives and performance requirements to support the University in the achievement of its objectives and enhance the University’s overall performance and reputation. The Division will also coordinate the development of a corporate Management Information System and the provision of timely and accurate business intelligence, information, reporting and risk and legal services to support effective planning and decision making across the University.
About the opportunity: reporting to the Associate Director, Information Governance and Reporting and leading an established team of Market Information & Statistics Officers, ensuring their adequate ongoing training and development and nurturing a high performance culture. You will also play a chief role in the provision of high quality operational and statutory reporting to inform executive strategic decision making. One of your key responsibilities will be ensuring the establishment of student load targets in collaboration with key stakeholders from Business Intelligence & Analytics, Service Delivery Centres, Brand Marketing and Student Recruitment and Financial Services.

About you: you will be tertiary graduate with significant experience leading successful teams, preferably within the Higher Education sector and with a strong track record of strategic marketing planning. Key to your success will be your ability to leverage your analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative) to set accurate student recruitment, price and revenue targets, as well as your ability to consult and negotiate to deliver compelling results.
