About the opportunity
We are seeking an innovative, strategic thinker with an understanding of design practice to support the University of Sydney (Parramatta/Westmead) expansion strategy, a key priority of the senior executive. The Campus Experience Design Lead will be responsible for the thought leadership and strategy of campus experience design within the University of Sydney (Parramatta/Westmead) initiative. This role will take ownership and responsibility for the student and academic experience aspects of the new campus, while also developing and mentoring junior strategy consultants. The Campus Experience Design Lead will frame University and wider community questions, lead design research, design definition, design and development in support of both our baseline and future state campus experiences.

- an understanding of the Australian higher education sector and are a champion for innovation
- strong experience designing and implementing whole-of-organisation processes, including skills in due diligence and design
- extensive experience in developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships in delivery of initiatives, including partnering and consultancy experience gained in the higher education sector, or large, complex, matrix organisations
