The incumbent is one of three staff working in a fast-paced academic course scheduling office reporting to the Associate Registrar for Classroom Management. Update the semester class schedule via scheduling software and web form requests; maintain data tables in a student information system; provide logistical support to Scheduling Manager; resolve software error reports; and manage and communicate final exam schedule. Interface daily with staff in academic units, and colleagues in ENSA, FM&P, and IS&T to ensure a high quality academic experience for faculty and students.
Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint a must; database experience a plus. Bachelors degree required. One to two years of work experience preferred. Experience with academic or event scheduling preferred. Higher education experience a plus. Excels at detail-oriented processes, while capable of grasping complex issues at a broader level. Can manage daily work with minimal supervision. Strong customer service skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Logical thinker. Able to manage varying work streams, and shift priorities as needed. Able to keep up with a fast pace of work at busier times in the academic cycle.
