This is an exciting time to join the sports department and join the team working in the £40million David Ross Sports Village. UoN Sport in partnership with Laureus sport for Good Foundation have recently received funding as part of the Potentials fund program from Sport England thanks to the National Lottery and #Iwill fund.

A coalition of partners across Nottingham will now use the funding to help young people across local communities make positive changes and use volunteering and sport as a tool to embed positive social change. We are therefore seeking for a person to lead this project over the next 3 years.

The post holder will need to have a passion for sport and have an enthusiastic and driven personality. They will have previous experience of working within the sports sector and preferably with either students and or within local community sports programs. They will be organised, be able to work with a team an individually and have project management experience. The ability to form and maintain working relationships with a range of different partners will be crucial.

The role is part time and working days and hours can be flexible however this will need to fit around the priorities of the role. We expect there to be much less delivery during school holiday times.

This position is based on a fixed-term contract until 31st January 2021.

The University of Nottingham is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
