Classification: ANU Officer Grade 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $68,704 - $75,109 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contributions
Terms: Part- time, Fixed Term 12 months
The ANU College of Science (CoS) comprises: the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics, the Research School of Biology, the Research School of Chemistry, the Research School of Earth Science, the Fenner School of Environment and Society, the Mathematical Sciences Institute, the Research School of Physics and Engineering, and the Centre for the Public Awareness of Science. Staff and students within the ANU College of Science conduct research and delivers a research-led education program that encompasses the entire breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and by world-class facilities. We are looking for an experienced Administrator who has an interest in climate change and who is highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic. Their role is to provide administrative and management support for the Director and staff of the ANU Climate Change Institute (CCI).
The CCI Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the CCI and for supporting and coordinating project work, internal and external events, stakeholder engagement and providing executive support to the CCI’s Director. To be successful you will need to have excellent administration, project management, events planning, and communication skills; the ability to work independently within a small team, display initiative, and exercise sound decision-making.
