Position overview

Multiple research fellow (Level B) positions are available to join the world-leading ANU solar research group in the Research School of Engineering to develop stable, high-efficiency perovskite solar cells and perovskite-silicon tandem cells. ANU has an excellent track record in undertaking cutting edge research and commercialisation in solar energy technology. Further information is available at

We seek outstanding researchers with a PhD and relevant research experience in perovskite materials, solar cells, semiconductor devices, physical chemistry or related areas to contribute to several research projects supported by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency and the Australian Research Council. The research fellows will take a leading role in the design, modelling, fabrication and characterization of novel perovskite solar cells and/or perovskite-silicon tandem devices. Successful candidates will be expected to carry out independent research toward the project objectives, and to support the broader activities of the perovskite research group.  Opportunities exist for international research collaboration and industry engagements.

The ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) is one of the premier engineering and computer science research institutions in the world. Comprising the Research School of Computer Science and the Research School of Engineering, both are recognised as research leaders in their respective areas continuing the tradition of excellence in research and research-led education. CECS collaborates on research projects with government departments (federal and state) and multinational corporations, helping to accelerate research and development programs and to introduce new technologies to the marketplace. CECS offers a wide range of coursework programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and also supervises students for higher degrees by research. We offer undergraduate degrees in engineering, information technology and computer science along with masters and doctoral postgraduate programs.
