The Academic Policy and Programs team provides administrative support for teaching and learning activities through a range of services that support academic decision making processes, information provision and dissemination.
The position of Team Leader, Academic Policy and Programs supports the team across a range of areas relating to the governance processes through which academic policy and program decisions are made. Responsibilities of the Team Leader include supervising staff, assigning tasks, conducting performance appraisals and identifying staff development needs.
Applicants should have a degree with substantial relevant experience. The successful applicant will have well developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to innovate and exercise informed judgement within a business context. High level computer skills are required. The role requires applicants to have knowledge of the University’s governance processes, or to have the ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge. Strong interpersonal and team management skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication proficiency, are important.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The HEW Level 6 remuneration package will be in the range $74,207.07 to 79,964.50 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822.27 to $93,558.47 p.a.).
