The Administrator - HR provides administrative support for Human Resources (HR) processing across the Faculty. HR administration includes co-ordinating recruitment activities, drafting position descriptions and job advertisements, staff contract reviews, casual employment matters, visitor appointments, ensuring appropriate funding of positions, supporting induction process arrangements for new staff and development of systematic processes to ensure efficient HR processing.

About the successful applicant

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications with subsequent relevant professional experience in administration in a large and complex environment, with some understanding of standard HR processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply, interpret, advise on and contribute to the development of protocols, procedures, guidelines and administrative systems.
  • A performance-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to act with a high level of independence, initiative, problem solving, analysis and judgment to provide accurate and appropriate outcomes.
