The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Australian Biodiversity and Heritage (CABAH) is headquartered at the University of Wollongong and involves researchers from the Faculties of Science, Medicine and Health and Law, Humanities and the Arts.

CABAH aims to bring together eight Australian universities and thirteen partner organisations from across the globe to contribute to the development of Australia’s epic story. This international research team are on a seven year quest to shed light on Australia’s iconic biodiversity and indigenous heritage and pioneer a new understanding of the natural and human history of Australia, Papua New Guinea and Eastern Indonesia. 

The Communications and Media Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Centre’s communications strategy; managing CABAH’s online presence; developing engaging communications for a public audience; assisting CABAH researchers to showcase their research outcomes; and managing media publicity surrounding Centre activities. The position will be a member of the Business Operations Team and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
