Brunel Law School

Lectureship in Corporate and Finance Law

£36,613 - £47,722

With a history dating back over 50 years, Brunel University London is a thriving Institution with a distinct purpose and clear mission to bring benefit to society through excellence in education, research and knowledge transfer. Its West London Campus is home to a lively community of nearly 13,000 students, with a vibrant international community at its heart. Vice-Chancellor and President Julia Buckingham has recently implemented the University’s new vision and strategy, “Brunel 2030”, which is an exciting blueprint for the further development of Brunel University London.

Led by Professor Arad Reisberg, Brunel University London’s Law School has recently become an independent Department in its own right on account of its incredible growth to date and the scale of its ambitious strategy; the implementation of which is being supported by an all-star advisory Board that draws upon the skills of a glittering array of academic and practitioner experts. Located within the College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences, it is a major player in the UK Law research landscape and offers excellent employment prospects to its diverse student body.

The Lectureship in Corporate and Finance Law is a new post that aligns with an area of growth for Brunel Law School, both in terms of research and teaching. Candidates with backgrounds in Corporate and Finance Law, Law and Finance, International Finance, International Financial Regulation, Corporate Insolvency, and Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions are preferred, with an expectation that they will have a complete Research Excellence Framework submission in time for the next round of the process. In addition to teaching and supervisory responsibilities across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, it is expected that the post-holder will contribute to the burgeoning interdisciplinary research profile of the College as a whole, as well as support the ongoing growth of the School.

Berwick Partners will be accepting applications until Monday 5th February.
