Lecturer (FE) –Extended Diploma (Textiles, Fashion)

Salary: £28,098 - £31,604 per annum (£16,859 - £18,962 pro rata)
Hours: Part Time - 0.6 FTE             
Contract: Fixed Term (Up to 12 months maternity cover)

We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff. Leeds Arts University has been formally recognised as the new title for Leeds College of Art, after being granted full university status by the Privy Council.

A vacancy has arisen for a Lecturer to teach on our Extended Diploma course within the course’s year one diagnostic stage and Textiles/fashion specialist pathway. There will also be administrative responsibilities in addition to teaching. The work is based at our city centre site.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, a teaching qualification, and have excellent teaching, interpersonal and organisational skills. You must also be able to demonstrate your competence to teach with enthusiasm and inspire learners and also your ability to fit in with our organisational values and ethos. Experience of teaching in the FE sector is desirable.
