We are looking for a skilled Research Facilitator to join the University to support and develop research in the Department of Dance. Our research in Dance is internationally recognised, and was the top rated in the discipline in REF2014.
Working collaboratively, the successful candidate will provide practical support and advice to the academic community, particularly in relation to external funding bids, and the impact and dissemination of research, as well as contributing to the organisation of research events and profile raising. Research Facilitators are based in academic departments and play a key link role between academics and the Research Office, and other support services within the University.
The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills, be an effective team player and will be highly organised. Experience of working in a research environment in the arts, and specifically in Dance, is strongly desired. Research Facilitators may be research active themselves, and eligible for research support, subject to the quality and fit of their research.
