Senior Lecturer / Lecturer I / Lecturer II (PR210/17-18)

The Master of Arts in Language Studies programme at HKBU is looking for a suitable new colleague to join its dedicated academic and teaching staff team. We welcome scholars with a demonstrably strong and rigorous interest in linguistic and cultural interfaces to join our highly integrative teaching and research environment.

The appointee's responsibilities include supervision of graduation theses and administrative duties.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in Linguistics/Applied Linguistics with relevant teaching experience. Applicants with less qualification or experience will be considered for the post of Lecturer I / Lecturer II.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing September 2018. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Remuneration package includes retirement/gratuity benefits, annual leave, medical and dental scheme.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
