Adviser to Staff
Classification: Senior Manager 1 (Specialist)
Salary package: $109,432 plus 17% superannuation, per annum
Term: Continuing. 1 fulltime position, or 2 part-time positions (job-share)
The Australian National University recognises the value and importance of staff health and wellbeing, with the provision of an Adviser to Staff, to provide individual counselling to University staff members.
The Adviser to Staff makes a significant contribution to the University by supporting our staff through the delivery of counselling and consultancy services. This involves the provision of coaching and clinical counselling to staff regarding problems that might affect their personal or professional wellbeing. The Adviser to Staff also contributes to educational presentations and therapeutic group programs, aimed at empowering staff in the workplace and beyond.
ANU are seeking a qualified Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker with proven experience in providing counselling services to join our supportive team of experienced Counsellors, working autonomously to positively impact on staff personal, psychological, life stage, cultural and mental health issues.
The position is a full time position, however, we are prepared to consider a part time, job-share arrangement for the right candidate(s).
This position is funded by the Human Resources Division, however reports to the Head, Counselling and Health Centre.
