About The Doherty Institute

The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity is joint venture between The University of Melbourne and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, combining research, teaching, public health and reference laboratory services, diagnostic services and clinical care in infectious diseases and immunity.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Support and Systems Administrator who will be will be a member of a team working on an externally funded project grant investigating the mechanisms of mechanisms of HIV persistence on antiviral therapy and other activities related to HIV clinical trials. As part of this team the appointee will work on different aspects from several projects and will require expertise in cellular immunology and/or molecular techniques. 

About you

To be successful in applying for this role, you will be a dedicated team player and have completed a tertiary qualification or in virology or immunology or related field. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in laboratory research in a clinical and/or academic environment, as well as a proven ability to work with senior researchers and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and data management software.
