The Advancement Team leads the University’s philanthropic and engagement activities through its connections with CDU Alumni, government and industry stakeholders, communities and individuals, in our local region, throughout Australia and internationally. In its commitment to this the Advancement team supports strategic initiatives to recognize the aspirations of the University’s Strategic Plan, Connect Discover Grow.
As the Manager of Development, you will take the lead on special projects including University-wide and specific philanthropy campaigns, and is personally responsible for building a healthy and engaged donor pipeline by developing relationships with stakeholders such as CDU Foundation, CDU Alumni, business, industry, interest groups and the wider community, both locally and nationally.
Your role will include the development and implementation of a planned giving program and major gift strategies. Managing a pipeline of prospective donors through effective research, engagement and stewardship, there will also be a focus on leading others to pursue major and planned gifts in support of the University’s fundraising priorities.
To be successful you will possess a relevant postgraduate qualification relevant to the position and extensive fundraising and stakeholder relations experience as well as extensive experience working in a management role in a successful fundraising team and demonstrated ability to build sustainable relationships with a wide range of donors and key stakeholders.
