The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is renowned for its research, postgraduate studies and continuing education in public and global health. We are seeking a full-time Academic Registrar and Student Experience Lead who will help us deliver our high-quality, research-led educational programmes to future health leaders, managers and researchers across the globe.

The post holder will provide strategic and managerial leadership for the School, with responsibility for the administration of all teaching and learning activities and playing a major role in the development of our Education portfolio. This post presents an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and forward thinking individual to join our team at a time when we have just launched our new five-year strategy and have many exciting new education initiatives to develop and grow. 

The successful applicant will have higher education to degree level, or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience. The post holder will be expected to work autonomously as well as part of the larger team and should have strong management experience. 
The post is full-time and permanent.  The salary will be on the Professional Services 9 scale in the range £58,986 to £74,241 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London, Bedford Square.
