The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music is seeking to appoint a dynamic Lecturer to contribute to the woodwind, brass, and percussion (WWBP) teaching and research program within the Classical Performance specialisation.
You will be an experienced performer and specialist on a woodwind/brass instrument or percussion. You will have an established reputation for research excellence in the field of music performance and a track record of research publications (non-traditional research outcomes and quality publications).
You will be an excellent and inspiring teacher with high regard from peers and/or students, and will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the highly regarded undergraduate music program. You will be expected to develop and foster collaborative linkages and activities with colleagues, external agencies/ institutions as well as industry in order to contribute to the growth and profile of the school. Supervision of research projects in the honours and Higher Degree Research Programs will also be expected. A postgraduate qualification is essential.
