Position Overview

The Director Partnerships is a new role leading the Alumni and Giving, and Partnerships and Engagement clusters within the Pro Vice Chancellor (Engagement) portfolio. This role will lead the development and delivery of the University’s overarching partnership and philanthropic efforts, focused on achieving the University’s strategic priorities through strong connectivity across all facets of the Southern Cross University community.

The role will deliver strategic initiatives that enhance connectivity with key target communities, namely donor and industry relationships nationally and internationally, expanding the engagement between the University’s alumni and academic endeavours of staff and students.

Working as a key part of the Pro Vice Chancellor (Engagement) senior management team, the role will contribute to the development of a range of strategic partnering initiatives providing expert advice across the University senior leadership team.

Required Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be a dynamic leader with extensive experience in strategic philanthropic programs, engagement and business development.  You will demonstrate your ability to make sound strategic decisions, accountable and transparent in the delivery strategic outcomes.

Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will see you network effectively to build collaborative relationships within the University, community groups and leaders and broader stakeholders.
