Join the team at the UOW Sustainable Buildings Research Centre to advance our research on “Innovative Envelope and IEQ Solutions for Mid-Rise Residential Buildings” for the Steel Research Hub. The project will focus on the development and improvement of advanced building envelope systems, and develop systems and strategies to improve the indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and health of the occupants and reduce building running costs and life-cycle greenhouse emissions.

This exciting position will involve significant collaboration with architects, designers, manufacturers, etc. with the primary aim of developing innovative new steel-intensive building technologies to address the needs of the burgeoning housing market in Australia, whilst maximising economic, social and environmental outcomes.

If successful you will be involved in a wide range of research activities including the development, prototyping and experimental testing of new building envelope technologies, and the numerical simulation of the thermal and environmental performance of advanced residential buildings.
