Senior Administrative Officer
The UQ School of Dentistry has a long and proud tradition of 81 years of strength in dental education and dental research, and attracts high achieving students across Australia and internationally. UQ is a leading source of expertise in the local, national and international dental community and has been a key contributor to achieving effective solutions to contemporary issues and challenges in dentistry and oral health.
This role is a secondment opportunity for a three month period from January 2018.
The role of Senior Administrative Officer within the Student and Academic Services Team supports the full student life-cycle of undergraduate and postgraduate programs on offer within the School of Dentistry, working collaboratively in a well-defined team model to provide a high level of service to a range of stakeholders.
This position holder works to clearly defined targets and goals to achieve optimal functioning of staff and systems. The position holder will exercise initiative and judgment in
dealing with student and academic matters and contribute to the development of procedures that promote transparency and ease of understanding of the systems of the University to School staff.
We’re seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our team with a positive attitude and the capacity to juggle a variety of tasks with competing deadlines. Applicants will need to demonstrate capacity to engage proactively with colleagues at all levels and to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. High level interpersonal and communication skills and the use of these to achieve desired outcomes are essential.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
This is a three month secondment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range of $74,207 - $79,964 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range of $86,822 - $93,559 p.a.).
