FULL-TIME LECTURER INTERIOR DECORATION, DESIGN AND STYLING

FIXED-TERM MATERNITY COVER POST

Salary Range: £32,959 - 38,183 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are now looking for an exceptionally motivated and qualified practitioner who will help us to continue to realise our ambitious developmental agendas at regional, national and international levels. 

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer (maternity cover) fixed term between 6-12 months, (this post may possibly become permanent if the business needs warrant this).  You will contribute fully to the teaching of our BA (Hons) Interior Decoration, Design and Styling award.

You will take a leading role in delivering the successful BA (Hons) Interior Decoration, Design and Styling programme, working as part of a team you will use your expertise and knowledge in the subject to inspire stimulate and teach across the cohorts of students and help to enhance and raise the profile of Interior Decoration, Design and Styling for Plymouth College of Art, at regional, national and international levels. 

You will:

  • Have a distinguished professional track record in the discipline and excellent awareness of the contemporary professional fields, their key trends and issues
  • Be proactive, inspirational and highly motivated with demonstrable experience of innovative teaching and successfully planning and coordinating modules and/or programmes of study and teaching teams
