Salary:     £29,799 to £38,833 per annum (pro-rata if offered a job share) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post which will be based within Research and Innovation within the Research Strategy Unit. Working with a broad range of academics, researchers and professional services, the successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering research focussed activity across the Research Priority Areas within the Health and Wellbeing Global Research Theme.

Responsibilities will include developing and delivering a series of interdisciplinary and networking events within the RPAs, supporting the preparation of funding applications to external organisations, financial management of internally allocated funding to the Research Priority Areas, and supporting communication and marketing activities - including development of the Research Priority Area webpages.

Candidates should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have experience of organising and delivering a series of successful events. In addition candidates should have experience of working on their own initiative in a proactive manner and have experience of the administration of research projects.

This full time post is offered on a fixed term basis until 31st July 2019. The post is open to a job share.
