Location:     University Park
Salary:     £29,799 to £38,833 per annum (pro-rata if offered a job share) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic new team member to join the Governance and Quality Team in the Registrar’s Department. The post is based on University Park Campus.   

The role holder will have the opportunity to work across a broad area including quality assurance activities, information governance themes including GDPR implementation and providing internal training sessions, and institutional governance acting as secretary to a number of University committees. Different skills are required in each of these areas and it is acknowledged that candidates are unlikely to be well experienced in them all but an enthusiasm for all the elements of the role should be in evidence. 
This an excellent opportunity for the role holder to gain knowledge and experience of key University administrative and governance processes, to support the wider team in the operational delivery of those processes and to develop a career in the Registrar’s Department.  

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, competent analytical and problem solving ability, experience of managing projects and solid IT skills. We will expect the role holder to be confident to deliver internal training and to be able to take ownership of challenging situations.   

This is a permanent full time position. The post is open to a job share.
