  • manages global experience opportunities for RMIT students, staff and alumni.

In addition, it connects and coordinates RMIT's presences throughout the world including RMIT entities in Australia, Vietnam and Europe (Spain) and representative offices in other countries.

The Role & Your Responsibilities

The Senior Advisor Global Relations supports the efforts of the Global Relations team and works closely with the Manager Global Relations to assist in the development and delivery of strategic projects rolled out across the entire RMIT Group ensuring best practice management of these new initiatives. This role will make a strategic contribution in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Global Partnership Framework. The position requires high-level project management skills, experience in international partnership management, and a sound understanding of the University regulatory environment.

Skills & Experience Required

You will manage and support RMIT's Global Partnership Management Framework and projects of strategic importance to RMIT, including development and implementation of a partnership lifecycle management framework and associated business processes. You will provide responsive, Melbourne-based advice and support for RMIT Europe and RMIT representative office partnership and relationship management activities, liaising as necessary with internal and external stakeholders and providing an authoritative point of contact for RMIT Europe staff engaged in related activities.

Key to your success in this role will be your experience in project management, including the ability to develop and carry out relevant processes for assessing, developing, and implementing new initiatives within the University environment. Your outstanding interpersonal skills will see you initiate, build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and members of project teams, as required to influence and negotiate successfully in cross-cultural contexts.
