Manager of Post Graduate Research (PGR) Team - main location Queens Medicine Centre (QMC), with regular working with teams on other campuses
The University has transformed the delivery of student administration and support with four teams working from our newly refurbished Student Service Centres and dedicated spaces across our UK campuses. Two exciting opportunities have arisen to work in the QMC/Derby/City Hospital/Sutton Bonington team, managing different aspects of the postgraduate student journey. These two fast paced and challenging posts will work very closely together, providing a seamless support to students and academics in the four schools that we support in this area; Medicine, Health Sciences, Vets and Biosciences.
The PGR Manager will be specifically responsible for managing delivery of PGR administration and support in the Schools of Medicine, Health Sciences, Vets and Biosciences, including management of PGR administrators undertaking this work. PGR administration teams are spread across a number of locations, so whilst the role is based at the QMC in Nottingham, regular working in at Derby Royal Hospital, Nottingham City Hospital, Sutton Bonington Campus and Jubilee Campus will be involved so we require a flexible approach to location.
The PGT Manager will be largely responsible for managing delivery of PGT administration and support in the School of Medicine; however work and line management responsibility will also straddle the School of Health Sciences (working with colleagues). PGT administration teams are spread across a number of locations, so whilst the role is based at the QMC in Nottingham, regular working in Nottingham City Hospital and Jubilee Campus will be involved so we require a flexible approach to location.
We welcome applications from people keen to join, or progress their career in, Student Services at this exciting time, who are committed to delivering a high quality, professional service to our students and academics, and who have a flexible attitude to work.
These are full-time permanent posts.
The University of Nottingham is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
