POSTDOC POSITION in the fields of PSYCHOLOGY (experimental-cognitive psychology, clinical/neuropsychology and positive psychology) 
  
Description:  

Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic) is seeking qualified candidates for an at least two-year postdoctoral position in the following fields of psychology: experimental-cognitive psychology, clinical & neuropsychology and/or positive psychology. 
  
The postdoc will participate in his/her own scientific research, including publishing related articles in refereed journals. As a part of his/her expertise, he/she would contribute to education and the exchange of experience and scientific knowledge among members of the research teams at Faculty of Arts and other faculties of Masaryk University. The postdoc would cooperate with the HUME lab at FoA MU and/or with other specific laboratories at Masaryk University (e.g. at the Faculty of Informatics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Sports Studies or CEITEC). 
  
The successful candidate should: 

  • be a researcher who has received a PhD or its equivalent within the last 7 years 
  • be a researcher who has worked at least two whole years in the last three outside the territory of the Czech Republic in the field of research with a working time of at least 0.5 full-time equivalent, or who has been PhD student (or equivalent) abroad 
  • have a publishing record – in the last three years at least two publication outputs registered in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science, Scopus or ERIH PLUS databases and at the same time publications such as “articles”, “books”, “book chapters”, “letters” and “reviews”. The applicant must be the principal author of at least one publication (according to the subject specificity it may be as the first author, the corresponding/reprint author, or the role of the individual authors stated in the article). 
  • have experience in at least one of these fields of psychology: 
  • experimental-cognitive psychology (with an overlap with engineering psychology or psychophysiology) 
  • clinical psychology (especially focused on health psychology, psychological assessment or neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation) 
  • positive psychology (particularly in the context of sports psychology, intercultural research or health psychology) 
  • have experience with interdisciplinary research projects (an advantage) 
  • have excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multiple teams

  • a CV including a summary of work experience, publication activity, involvement in research grants and further information proving the above mentioned 
  • a copy of diploma or similar proof of academic education 
  • a Cover Letter 
  • contact information for at least two referees
