Applications are invited for the above full time, permanent, APM level 3 post based in the School of English, Trent Building, University Park campus.  The successful candidate will have a web, communications and IT portfolio to support curriculum development and promotion activities in the School of English.The Senior Administrator will join a team of administrative staff to work with academic and administrative staff to support the School’s commitment to the University’s Strategy for 2020.The post-holder will oversee the work of a level 2 Administrator in the School. Applicants must be educated to at least HNC/HND level or equivalent (in a relevant subject) and have a good general standard of education including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent (grade C or above). 

Advanced web editing skills and web management skills are essential along with good written skills including editing text, writing copy and original materials for promotional materials and producing reports etc. Applicants must also have a proven good knowledge of social media and its application for promotional campaigns.

Applicants should also have experience of managing projects with a large group of people and should have significant recent experience of working in an administrative role and evidence of establishing administrative systems and processes. 

This post requires candidates to have a high degree of initiative, responsibility, self-motivation and professionalism and a proactive approach to problem solving.
