Reporting to the Provost, the Pro Vice Chancellor, Student Engagement and Success (PVC,SES) will provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that ensure students, irrespective of background, have the best student experience, maximise their success and their committment to lifelong learning. The PVC, SES will strategically lead change and innovation in the delivery of high-quality student support services that ensure a safe, rewarding and successful student experience for students studying in higher education and vocational education and training programs, on campus, on-line or in the workplace.

This is an outstanding to opportunity for academics offering a track record in delivering high quality student support services and achieving measureable success in improving student outcomes. With a background including learning and teaching/student engagement experience secured within a large education-related institution at a strategic level, the PVC, SES brings the capacity to contribute to tertiary policy development and change. Applications will be further supported by proven leadership and management skills, a demonstrated record of strategic planning and decision making, recognised interpersonal and communication skills, and a PhD or equivalent relevant post graduate qualification.
