The University of Bristol and Bristol Robotics Laboratory invites applications for an immediate position in Tactile Robot Hands.
 
The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team in Tactile Robotics (PI N. Lepora), working on an Impact Acceleration Award ‘Tactile Smart Grasping System’. 
 
The position is based in the Bristol Robotic Laboratory, the largest centre for multi-disciplinary robotics research in the UK, and the Department of Engineering Mathematics at the University of Bristol.
 
You will have experience supporting research projects of similar scope and working with researchers and other technicians in a research context. In addition to a strong technical support track record you will also have excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm to work in a friendly multi-disciplinary team.
 
It is anticipated that interviews will take place immediately after application closure, and the anticipated start will be as soon as possible thereafter. This post is offered on a fixed term contract for 4 months.
