We are looking for an experienced Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our maintenance team.  You will carry out installation and testing, servicing and fault finding, control checks and preventive maintenance work.   As part of a multi-skilled team you may form time to time be required to work across trades to assist other members of the team.

The role includes a requirement to be available out of hours and on call for emergencies, currently on a one week in three basis, for which an additional retainer fee is paid, as well as out of hours rates and expenses in the event of a callout.

The successful candidate will:

  • hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and will have served a recognised apprenticeship
  • hold core domestic gas certification, heating and water appliances as a minimum;
  • be able to demonstrate good all round competence and experience of working on a wide range of plumbing and mechanical installations in a variety of building types.
