Overview

The Corporate Events team at ECU is responsible for organising and managing large scale events such as ECU Open Day, graduation ceremonies and a variety of engaging community events. We are seeking a meticulous and driven team player to be a part of our Corporate Events team - someone who is passionate about coordinating events. 

The Corporate Events Coordinator is responsible for communicating event protocols and standards to the wider University community, providing an advisory and consultative service to internal and external stakeholders, and working collaboratively with the wider Marketing and Communications Service Centre to develop event materials.

As well as having responsibility for the coordination of a variety of events that complement the University’s strategic objectives, the main focus of the role will be to coordinate events for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. The position will be responsible for creating and managing a range of significant alumni and fundraising events that will enable the ECU community to re-connect and build strong relationships with the University in the long term.

Reporting to the Corporate Events Manager, the successful candidate will have a highly professional approach to coordinating events and managing stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome for the University, team and client. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional events is key to being successful in this role. You will also need to demonstrate event management experience and have proven accomplishments in relationship building.

Benefits & Remuneration

This fixed-term,  full time 12 month position attracts remuneration of $78 578 to $84 902 plus University superannuation contribution.
