Academic Developer in Teaching and Learning Enhancement Coordinator
About the position
Working within the Office of Learning and Teaching, this exciting position will be responsible for leading and growing the Academic Development portfolio, Learning and Teaching programs and practice, and supporting applicable Educational Research at Bond University.
Reporting to the Director, the role will be instrumental in supporting the strategic priorities of the University relating to pedagogical and educational best practice by providing support and advice to staff to ensure that our academic programs, educational development, and learning and teaching delivery are in alignment.
About the person:
The successful incumbent will have a PhD or an equivalent degree in a related field along with experience in educational development, teacher education and/or learning and teaching enhancement. Evidence of solid experience in the development, implementation and review of curriculum, professional development programs, activities and services to build institutional capacity and individual capability in learning and teaching is also essential. The role will require an individual who has excellent oral and written communications skills, the proven capacity to develop and nurture relationships, demonstrate initiative, and has a strong client-service focus.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $93,091.09 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.
It is expected that the successful applicant will commence in the role in January 2018 (date to be negotiated).
