Curriculum Development Officer
About the position
Working within the Office of Learning and Teaching, this exciting position will support the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Academic in providing efficient, effective, and high-quality curriculum development and management across all programs to maintain assurance of learning, quality and compliance.
The position will be responsible for administering the University curriculum management system, servicing and supporting the University Faculty in learning and teaching quality assurance activities and the provision of associated training.
About the person:
The successful candidate will possess a Masters degree (or equivalent work experience) in a discipline relevant to learning and teaching, education administration and/or adult education. They will have at least three years’ experience in an educational context along with the ability to support staff in curriculum review, drafting learning outcomes and assessment alignment.
An understanding of contemporary best practice in higher education in relation to curriculum design, assessment and assurance of learning is essential, as is the capacity to design and develop educational training materials relating to assurance of learning.
Previous experience working with an integrated data management system to manage curriculum support is highly desirable.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $90,379.70 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.
It is expected that the successful applicant will commence in the role in January 2018 (date to be negotiated)
