The School of Nursing, Massey University, has a reputation for high quality nursing programmes focused on improving health outcomes for people in New Zealand and internationally. The School is seeking full time nursing lecturers/senior lecturers to be based on either the Albany campus in Auckland, the Manawatu campus in Palmerston North or on the Wellington campus. Applications are welcome from Registered Nurses, with a minimum of five years' clinical experience in general settings and in-depth knowledge of health assessment. Teaching and role-modelling clinical practice in a simulated practice environment is a component of the position. To be successful in appointment ideally you will have a completed Masters in Nursing or a related discipline, although preference may be given to a Registered Nurse with, or studying towards, a PhD in nursing or associated discipline. You will actively contribute to the on-going development of nursing education within the university setting; demonstrated experience in in developing online and blended curriculum is highly regarded as is proven ability to reflect positive learning outcomes through modern teaching in a tertiary environment.
