The Office for Research supports the University's research endeavours through a range of activities including administration of research grants and contracts and research development.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Nathan campus but you will also be required to work at the Gold Coast campus on a regular basis.

The role:

You will be is responsible for the provision of high level research administration of Griffith's competitive research grants program which contributes over $50M of reportable income each year.

The person:

As this is a pivotal and senior role, you will have a strong track record of supervising a team responsible for processing a large volume of grant applications and funding agreements, have excellent knowledge of research funding opportunities, and have excellent planning skills.

The skill and ability to collaborate effectively with other administrative units of the University is essential. You will need to be a self-starter and team player. You will be given the autonomy and responsibility to make a significant contribution to the Office for Research and the University.

Salary range:

HEW Level 10: $113,924 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $133,291 per annum.
