Salary: Level C: $120,993 - $139,510 p.a. or Level D: $145,685 - $160,500 p.a plus 17% superannuation. Level of appointment is subject to qualifications and experience.

The University of Melbourne seeks an enthusiastic, motivated and team-focused Veterinary Neurologist to join our team in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the Melbourne Veterinary School. The Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor in Veterinary Neurology will participate in the clinical services of the U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital, Australia's leading veterinary centre of excellence, equipped with state of the art diagnostic imaging facilities, including a new 3T MRI.

In this position you will take a leading role in the theoretical and practical instruction in the area of veterinary medicine or surgery with an emphasis in the area of neurology for students enrolled in the DVM program and you will contribute to curricular development. 

Working alongside our experienced team, you will also be responsible for leadership of the clinical neurology service in the U-Vet Hospital and for planning, developing and implementing research, establishing collaborations with other researchers and supervising graduate research students in the veterinary sciences.

The position will be based at the Werribee campus of the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences but will be expected to teach at the Parkville campus from time to time.
