Group Marketing manages and promotes the University's brand, reputation and achievements. Within Group Marketing, the Digital team is responsible for building the reach and impact of communications in University "owned" media channels. The team leads the web development for the whole university, engaging all internal stakeholders with a clear vision and process, and establishing a one-stop shop for digital advertising.

The Role

We are looking for two Web Content Officers to support the development and structure of online digital copy and content aimed at meeting client needs and maximising the creative content of online University wide communication.

Reporting to the Web Manager, you will be responsible for fulfilling web content online support requests, liaising with key clients to understand their online communication needs, providing advice to key clients on how to structure and prepare digital content and optimise search engine techniques.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for the position, you must submit your CV and a cover letter (no more than 3 pages) which addresses the criteria below:

  • Degree and/or equivalent experience in communication or related disciple.
  • Demonstrated experience writing, editing and copywriting for a variety of channels online, social media content, advertising copy and other associated marketing collateral.
  • Demonstrated experience writing according to search engine optimisation principles for online distribution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of content management systems and marketing automation.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and basic HTML.

Salary Package: From $69,654 - $79,193 p.a. (HEW Level 5), plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading
