Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Clinical Oncology, to commence in April 2018 for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a B.Sc. degree and a Ph.D. degree in Biological or Biomedical Sciences.  Experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS),  whole-genome sequencing and transcriptome studies, single cell NGS studies, circulating tumor cell studies; experience in establishing cell culture and animal models for cancer; experience in preclinical drug testing in vitro and in live animals; and experience in functional studies of cancer genes, molecular biology, cell culture, microscopy, and biomarkers are essential.  Applicants should have a strong publication record in cancer studies.  A good command of English, good interpersonal and communication skills, and good knowledge of PC and software applications are desirable.  The appointee will work on cancer research projects.  Enquiries on the post can be directed to oncopost@hku.hk.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 201701469) need not re-apply.
