The Curtin Medical School, which is part of the Faculty of Health Sciences, commenced teaching in February 2017. Curtin’s five year direct-entry course is the only undergraduate medical program in Western Australia.
As an academic staff member, you will work as part of a team at the Curtin Medical School providing innovation and excellence in teaching.
To be successful you require a registerable medical qualification and proven teaching skills with experience in medical education. You will have had experience in writing and/or preparing examinations for medical students. You will also have proven interpersonal skills. Experience in facilitating problem-based or team-based learning, as well as teaching clinical skills sessions is desirable.
The University may make more than one part-time appointment. The level of appointment is negotiable depending on qualifications and skills.
