The Role and Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Market Development and Customer Innovation, you will be responsible for leading the digital innovation design practise setting the direction, planning, delivery and implementation of innovative solutions specifically focused on our digital capability.

In this newly created role, you will also lead the effort to understand key market drivers and trends that will have a future impact at the University and building strong strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders and use this information to implement elegant design solutions. You will also enable the University to deliver next generation services and solutions that support the University to be a leading institution.

About you

To be suitable for this role you will have extensive User Experience and lean UX Experience, Extensive Experience leading digital innovation, Design Thinking, Lean Start up and Agile Experience, strong analytical skills to review emerging trends and business model design, exceptional analytical capability; can combine and organise information into meaningful patterns and identify new opportunities and trends. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, in a matter that is easily understood, authoritative, and actionable for the business. A Bachelor in computer science or information systems, or a related field or equivalent extensive work experience is essential.
