The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC), Corporate Engagement & Advancement enables and provides leadership in marketing, recruitment of domestic students, corporate engagement, institutional advancement, incubation and entrepreneurship through partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Within the DVC, Corporate Engagement and Advancement Office, the Incubator team develops and runs incubation and entrepreneurship programs for students, researchers and staff from across the University. The Incubator provides a globally recognised, impactful entrepreneur program to support research teams to commercialise and attain impact for society.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Incubator Support Officer to join our dream team inventing the future of incubation. Reporting to the Incubator Manager, you will play a key role in the development of the events calendar, workshops, mentor booking, and day to day operation of our co-working space. You will drive our social media updates, live stream content, and assist with the development and implementation of entrepreneur training programs. The role also involves assisting with administrative tasks, and may require work outside of normal business hours to accommodate attendance at work-related functions/events.

- Degree (or equivalent), in business, technology or related discipline and/or experience in business administration with a customer focus
- Strong computer skills including a working understanding of social media platforms
- Demonstrated understanding of start-ups, entrepreneur or creative environments
- Proven ability to coordinate projects and events
- Demonstrated capacity to administer resources, spaces and functions in a fast paced and complex environment
- Enthusiasm for innovation
- Experience with productivity suites such as Eventbrite, Marketo etc
*Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Working with Children check and Criminal History check.
Salary Package: From $69,654 to $79,193 per annum (HEW Level 5) plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
