Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Geography (Coastal Resilience)
£39,993 – £49,149 per annum
Vacancy Reference: 2101

The School of Natural Sciences and Psychology seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with an established or growing reputation for conducting research of leading international quality in coastal science. We welcome applications which expand our capability in science-based coastal resilience – including coastal system and morphological change modelling and/or coastal flood risk modelling.

You must be able to demonstrate the impact of their work on coastal resilience planning and decision making. The ability to contribute to the teaching of coastal resilience in the field and overseas would be an advantage. This appointment is part of a strategic investment in the research and teaching of Geography at LJMU.

Informal enquiries may be made to Dr Jason Kirby (Subject Head for Geography and Environmental Science) on 0151 231 2410 or email (j.r.kirby@ljmu.ac.uk).

Or alternatively please contact the People and Organisational Development Department on 0151 904 6130 or email: recruitmentcampaign@ljmu.ac.uk.
