About the role
In this role you will extract and analyse data and help translate this into meaningful and useful information to be used within the Graduate Research School and across La Trobe. Using Business Objects and other relevant reporting tools you will produce complex management and operational reports. You will provide advice to the Graduate Research School leadership on the availability of data and how to structure, produce and interpret reports, and liaise with relevant areas to understand data needs of both the Graduate Research School and La Trobe. You will also train staff members to run and develop basic reports.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role you will have completed a Degree qualification in a relevant field with at least 4 years relevant experience or have an equivalent combination of knowledge, training and experience. You will be experienced in data modelling and analysis, using statistical packages, database systems, SPSS, Excel, Access and Business Objects. An understanding of University data sources and their uses is essential. You will also possess analytical, problem solving and information management skills and the ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a team.
