Academic Program Manager, School of Public Health
The Academic Program Administrator manages the day-to-day operations for all aspects of the Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Programs, as well as for the T32 training grants in which the Program is engaged or leads. The APA is a liaison between faculty, students, and administrators at the School of Public Health.
This position coordinates student information, advising, degree progress, relevant guidebooks and policies, dissertation activities and supports faculty program leaders in coordinating academic program activities.
This person works closely with the Department Chair, Program Directors, T32 PIs, and Directors of Professional and Academic Advising and Graduate Student Life to ensure the successful coordination of educational and co-curricular student activities. This person also manages the evaluation activities of the NIDA-funded T32 and works with the administrative and leadership staff from the School of Medicine on the AHRQ-funded T32. This person works closely with all students in the MS and PhD programs in HSR
5-8 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
