At the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Institute of Circuits and Systems, the Chair of Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering is offering a position for a

Research Associate
(Subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)

starting at the earliest possible date for a period of 3 years within the framework of a project funded by the German Research Foundation. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).

The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (e.g. PhD / habilitation thesis).

Tasks: Research work on the project "Development of Complex Behavior in Memristor Cellular Neural Networks".

Requirements: very good to good university degree in the field of electrical engineering, physics or related fields; ability and willingness for independent, conceptual work in a team; interest in practice-oriented, interdisciplinary cooperation with cooperation partners from industry; good German and English skills. Advantageous are knowledge of Memristors with nonlinear systems and methods for the analysis and modeling of nonlinear dynamical systems.
