Associate Professor (Practice-Track): Script-writing and Multimedia Storytelling

The ability to generate video content and to be a capable multimedia storyteller is a vital skill for our students, whether in television programming, public relations, advertising or journalism.  We are seeking to hire our School’s first Associate Professor of Practice in recognition of the importance of this subject area and the degree to which this position can support the various undergraduate concentrations in our School.  

The ideal candidate would have a relevant post-graduate degree in the field of study and will have at least 10 years of industry experience, which includes being an experienced media professional with expertise in scriptwriting, experience in multimedia storytelling, and an interest in serving as a liaison with the local professional community in creating internship and employment opportunities for our students. There also must be evidence of service and scholarship in the form of, but not limited to, good quality publications, book chapters, written cases, pedagogical research, impactful creative works or patents. In addition, good teaching ability and the potential to contribute to curriculum development must be evident. This is a fixed-term position with an initial term of three years.
