The School of Psychological and Clinical Sciences is responsible for teaching and research in the fields of health professional related sciences such as psychological, pharmacological, biomedical and exercise and sports science. It also provides foundation education in a range of biological, chemical and biomedical sciences.
The School offers a range of undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programs that cater to the beginner student, students in pursuit of a health professional or research career and those in pursuit of lifelong learning. The School has strong partnerships with the Menzies School of Health Research and Flinders University’s Northern Territory Medical Program.
As the Associate Head of Pharmacy, you will encourage and facilitate the development of a professional team approach to the work of the Pharmacy team through a range of mechanisms including mentoring, team-building, professional management and leadership
You will need to demonstrate your commitment to understanding the needs of students, the profession, and Indigenous and remote communities in the Northern Territory and have the ability to lead the development and promotion of non-traditional career pathways for Pharmacy graduates.
To be successful, you require a Ph.D. in a relevant area of Pharmacy, and professional activity in Pharmacy, or aligned discipline as well as demonstrated leadership in teaching, curriculum development and curriculum renewal at undergraduate level in one or more areas of pharmacy.
